Minimum Academic Degree

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in the Official / Local Language of the State/UT is mandatory (especially for Clerical and Assistant cadres).
  • Working knowledge of Computer Operating Systems and Office applications is required.

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years • Maximum Age: 28 to 30 Years (for Clerical / PO cadres).
  • SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years Relaxation (Up to 33/35 years).
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years Relaxation (Up to 31/33 years).
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years relaxation.

Is there sectional timing in NABARD Grade A?

Yes. Both Preliminary and Main examinations have strict sectional timers (usually 20 minutes per section in Prelims). You cannot switch sections before the timer expires.

What is the negative marking penalty?

There is a penalty of 0.25 (1/4th of the marks assigned to that question) deducted for every wrong answer marked.

Do marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination count towards final merit?

No. The Preliminary Examination is strictly qualifying in nature to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. Final merit is determined on Mains + Interview scores.
